Story: Old lady Veerathalli (Kovai Sarala). Sembi, the granddaughter, will look after them if the daughter and son-in-law perish in a fire. She provides for the family by gathering and selling wild honey. Sembi aspires to pursue medical training.
She instructs her granddaughter to gather honey in the wild and bring it to the store one day. Sembi gets gang-raped by three teenagers while carrying the honey his grandma gave him. The cops lied about the situation because one of the three adolescents is the son of the head of the state’s opposition. Conclusion
Sembi is unquestionably a sincere endeavor since the filmmaker was able to let us experience the characters’ suffering. The gorgeous locations of Kodaikanal provide for excellent cinematography (Jeevan). Nivas K Prasanna’s music and background score enhance the emotional moments. Applause is due for the makeup artist and costume designer for bringing some reality to the screen.
A delight to behold is Kovai Sarala’s powerful performance. She has done the part a great deal of justice and carries the entire movie.
